Potential New Owner Check Pls

4 previous owners. Previously on plate N1JGX which is now on a Jeep.

The car has been for sale since April starting at 62,995 and has had no MOT since April either. Might be why it hasn't sold. Probably also why the service history ended in 2023.

Appears online in several places if you Google the reg.

Thanks interesting, so given that history and the fact it looks like it been tracked a fair bit, probably not the best buy??

I assume that's a rhetorical question :)

It's also been up for sale 7 times in the last 5 years.

It's not SORN nor been SORN. The tax was renewed in April either as an annual purchase or is currently on direct debit.

Bizarre given the MOT has expired.

Perhaps. Information is from this site - https://totalcarcheck.co.uk/FreeCheck?regno=OV68OKT

(change the plate in the URL for any other car you're looking at)

I've watched that car with interest; it's a very long time on the market, and I think it's the perfect illustration of the damage that an aftermarket remap does to a car's value and saleability.

Not to mention the brown interior lol.

I dont necessarily have an issue with remaps etc if they are done by the right people with documentation, same with having some fun on the track, but it needs to have more care around maintenance, oil changes more regularly etc etc..

But you are right for the average consumer its not an easy sell..
