<blockquote> I am intrigued, but not really annoyed by the idea. Bought the f for the looksnoise, not the power (which really isn't anything special even if all ponies are present). Plus I've always thought manufacturers overstate so also not surprised. Seemingly im not alone.<br /><br />I would like to know what jaguar say in the end though - esp as it seems their customer service is not always all you might expect from a premium brand...<br /><br />Jess </blockquote> <br /><br />If you were to buy a 5 bedroom house and move in to find it only had 4 bedrooms, would you say that you bought the house because it was in a nice area and had a big lounge, so over look the fact that there was a bedroom missing? Its the same kind of thing. If a company says their product is x, you expect the product to be x, or the company should expect repercussions. There is overstating BHP and downright lieing, a difference of 40BHP is a hell of a lot, ome people spend thousands to get that kind of a gain in power to their cars. I and I think I can also speak for geoff, would not have bought the car if we knew it only had 335 BHP, I would have probably gone for the V8, or another car altogether. As for Jaguar customer service, the dealership have been great, but Jag HQ seem to be dragging their heals. Eachtime the dealership asks them a question it seems to take a day before they get an answer. The dealership I feel would like to take a more logical approach to diagnosing the problem, where as Jag HQ are getting them to check the air filters and spark plugs! I suggested to the dealership that they put a 6 and another 6S on the rollling road to see what results came in. They were not allowed to. It appears that Jag like to take the more expensive route in diagnostics. I'm hoping they have a plan. As if come tuesday I am not getting any feedback I think I will be seeking legal advice.<edited><editID>Bambou</editID><editDate>2015-06-21 00:42:48</editDate></edited>
