Hello,
Here is a small win I have had with the seats in the F Type. The car is 2022 and I believe have what was described as performance seats, with heating and cooling but with the basic adjustment and no memory.
As I have seen on another post, these seats have an unconnected motor at the front. transmission tunnel side.
Getting this working at a basic level is pretty simple. The connector has 2 spade ends for the motor and 2 prongs for the hall sensor. Without removing the seat there is just enough room to slide a couple of 2.8mm crimp connector on to the spade connectors (though with care as there are some sharp bits of metal under there!). While I might do a better job in the future currently I have wired to a 2.1mm jack connector on a short lead. Then powered when needed through a DPDT rocker switch powered though the 12V socket in the arm rest.
Anyway the result is front seat squab high adjustment. As a default these were on their lowest setting. Being able to raise has made a nice improvement to comfort.
Cheers
Steve
PS Does anyone know if the seat back inflatable lumber and bolster cushions are fitted but not plumed into the basic seats?
