Panel gap bonnet front to bumper top

I've had a repair, new bumper nicely done, but the gap between the front of the bonnet and the corresponding edge of the bumper top is 6mm and looks a bit large. Larger than it used to be. When I mentioned it, the body shop said they'd adjust it next week, (but they obviously thought it was OK). So my question is - what would be a sensible gap to aim for? What do you have?

I guess you mean this gap:

RPSN's post says it all. My bonnet was slightly misaligned from factory (as many of them are) and was adjusted to perfection by a specialist at the dealer and is also around 4 mm.

Access to this sort of information and all of the other bits of advice, etc., is fantastic! Knowing that there are knowledgeable and generous contributors here makes owning an F-Type an even more special experience. Many thanks!
