Evening all. So after a couple of M3s, a 997 and 3 MKIV Supras I’m now headed down the F-Type route. My current car (E93 M3 V8) is up for sale and the proceeds will go towards the eventual purchase of a 5.0 V8. Cannot wait to get into F-Type ownership and will be browsing posts on here for advice, hints and tips etc. Pic of the current car for sale. IMG_9503.jpeg

Love the look of that M3, and a NA high revving V8!! Maybe the F Type will feel a bit like a boat after that?! :D

Will be going for a coupe and will be my daily!
M3 sold today as well so when that gets collected next week I shall be setting up viewings of s few cars I’ve added to my favourites list.

The F-Type shouldn’t feel too boaty! The E93 M3 is 200kg heavier than the coupe (one of which I had before this) and you can feel that weight. I think it’s even a touch heavier (or roughly the same weight) as the F-Type.

You’re going to love it. The drama, looks and rarity alone are worth the money. You’ll be glued to your office/home windows just staring at the car in different lights.
Having owned many many cars over the years I’ve never had so many compliments from strangers as I have in this car. People love it and will randomly tell you at traffic lights, petrol stations and parking spots. I even had a lad in an Golf GTI follow me the other day so he could “listen to the exhaust”, (I was getting nervous until he pulled alongside and with a thumbs up told me).
This car was designed in the UK and tuned in Welsh roads. Get it into these and it’s such fun.

I’m fortunate enough to have had a few head turners in my time (3 x MKIV Supras, 997 etc) but this trumps those by some margin.
I’ve put a deposit on a 14 plate R today and it should be on the drive a week today all things being equal. Absolutely cannot wait to pick it up and enjoy it on the 100 mile trip home.
