Just placed my spec with the dealer after seeing the cars at the VIP viewing last week. Cant wait to have one now.
 
Hi Matt,<br><br>Any idea when you'd be expecting your car? <br><br>Haven't heard from my dealer yet regarding when i need to get my spec in and I've got their 2nd car.<br><br>Rich.<br><br>Oh, and what's the spec? ;)<br>
 
Hi Rich,<br />According to jaguar and my dealer, first cars due are the demo's sometime in April. Dealers are having 1no. V8 as a showroom car and 1 no. V6 as a demo. The spec list deadline has passed for the first customer cars which they anticipate will be delivered in July. The jaguar salesman said that the next spec deadline is within the next few weeks, although my dealer didn't have a clue of this, so get your spec done ASAP. As soon as I heard this I got my spec in.<br />Although I was thinking of a V6 S, I have gone for the base V6 as it saves about £10K and will look virtually identical, and will hardly be a slouch! I've gone for white with cyclone wheels and body kit. Looks stunning in the flesh. Hoping I will get mine August/September<br /><br />Matt.
 
Congrats Matt on ordering your F-Type, you've gone for a great colour, really does look amazing in Polaris!, I think the V6 will be a great car, really driver focused!.
 
Thanks Oliver.<div>I have been told by my dealer my order has been inputted into the Jaguar order system, but I still dont have a build date as yet. I have had to change my spec slightly as the design pack has been withdrawn from the V6's at the moment. Something to do with overheating!!, which I can only assume is the rear venturi getting exhaust heat damage. V8's exhaust passes over the top of the Venturi, whereas the V6 goes under. I may have it fitted as a retro fit in the future but in the meantime I have decided to add the active sports exhaust instead.</div><div> </div><div>Cant wait now.</div>
