Just had the video report from JLR who report an oil leak near the gearbox, a bung apparently being the culprit..
Inspection Notes: Oil leak, suspected rear timing plug
I've attached a picture, within the blue circle there is a small red laser dot, that is the bung.
Has anybody had this before? It can't be that bad because there is no residue on my drive.
I've been quoted £255, which I assume is further inspection but I'll probably just go to an indy.
Has anybody experience of this?
