Oh happy day!

Well I finally picked up my MY18 R coupe yesterday - not great pics but you get the idea - had a 70 mile drive home and my face still aches from smiling! Couple of pics here but not great ones - shout out to Dick Lovett Jaguar in Melksham who were great through the whole process - much friendlier than my local dealer.

I guess that makes you smiley Simey :)

The car looks great, no wonder!

You still staring at it out of the window or have you "remembered" an errand you need to pop out and do for an hour?

Happy days indeed - congratulations.

Very Nice. :D :D :D

I'm still happy and grinning after 3 weeks with mine,

Though mines only a 300, its quick enough for me :o

Rhodium Silver was the colour I lusted after when we specced our fist V8S back in 2014 - The wifee convinced me that greys or metallics thereof, were for old men and we ended up with feisty IRR and black theme.

I can't help but think a part of me was right ;-)...not that I let the wifee think that at all!

To make it look a tad better, ditch the chrome badges and go piano black...looks so much better. Then satin black the chrome exhaust tips (Chrome Black is too much).
I'm not sure of the cost from JLR for black badges, but FWIW, I bought a complete OEM set of the Bay and sent them to a Hydro Dipper that I know many forum members have also used since and they came back wonderfull.

Here's my backside to give you an idea...

Thought you would have matching carpets Tel🤔

Lovely but tend to agree with Tel, black with Rodium silver😍😍😍

You were referring to my rear end? Think you missed a 't' on the end of but and a full stop after.

Carpets would be too much... I have a large 2L red fire extinguisher that annoys the heck out of NA as she can't tilt the seat squab forward! She's so tilted back she looks like one of those dodgy rappers in a Beemer!

Congratulations,
Welcome to ownership of one of the best looking and charismatic cars ever made!!
Get out there and enjoy.
(He says stuck in lockdown in Wales) :?
