So excuses first...

The trip was M3, M25, M26 to our office near Brands Hatch to do some training, and can only claim 21p per mile so 63 miles of light footed driving keeping below 63mph so the spoiler doesn't rise.

Bearing in mind it was only 3 degrees when i set off at 06:30 and I had headlights, air con, stereo on that's not too shabby - although likely to be a one off achievement :lol:

Mitigating factors are that I had changed over to the winter Sottozeros at the weekend, which I'm convinced give better economy, and that it was on a full tank, which I suspect thinks it's still full for a while.

...and of course I now have loads of halo credit to use for a few good blats

Driving has become so rubbish, that bidding for planetary salvation is often more fun than dodging jams, cameras, roadworks etc.
Getting 40 plus on an M25 amble to Heathrow was a major high!

Only 21p a mile! Can’t you claim tax back for this? I thought the revenue rate was 45p so if you get less you can claim the difference back? My figures may well be out of date of course!

I always wonder when doing mine how they round down the pennies to the nearest pound on anything in my favour.
Then they send me a bill for 33p.
