Joined JEC more than a year ago and this forum months ago.
Found what I was looking for F Type 400S in August. I asked the sales chap about underbody corrosion, and no response.
Difficult to see in collection area. 250m drive home. Carried out inspection and cleaned various bits and pieces.
Raised issue with dealer, car had less than 6000m on collection. Full Service History and year Jaguar Approved Warranty.

Got the run around and then asked to take to local JLR. I provided various photos and they submitted claim that has been rejected. Told to go back to supplying Dealer. I have and also asked [email protected] to review.

Great car to drive, road from Skye through Glencoe home amazing. I’ll let you know if I get any good will or replacement

Great choice of car and looks a great example of the 400S.
I think the car will be happy in it's new home, it looks like it's getting 5* service.
It's crazy how these braces rust so quickly.
 
Hi Andy, i didn't get a jlr warranty with mine so i had the braces treated with shults and the rest of the underside we did with lanogaurd. Just a idea for you if you dont get any joy with warranty. Enjoy the car.
 
Rear braces replaced with good will discount. I have just re-fitted front after blasting, priming, Hammerite aerosol smooth and a coat of Bilt Hamber Dynax S50. I supplied a new can to Dealer who coated the new rear ones.

Can a moderator update my user name to AndyH 400s now that I have one.

You will need to Pm "Rob" who is the admin on here and he should be able to do that for you.
Not something I can do as a moderator.

I had to go through the same ordeal with my braces (2013 car). Very surprised to see it wasn't sorted on the later cars like the 400 Sport.

Thinking of treating mine with lanogurd, how do you use it , and can it be painted over
