Hi all,<div> </div><div>got my new toy just before Christmas and still in grin mode.</div><div> </div><div>I've had more people commenting on this car than when I had a F430 for a week a couple of years ago!</div><div> </div><div>Not seen any pictures or examples of this configuration, so be interested in opinions:</div><div> </div><div>White V6S coupe</div><div>Panoramic sunroof</div><div>20" tornado blacks</div><div>FTYPE bonnet decals</div><div>wheel badges</div><div> </div><div><img src="http://www.ftypeforums.co.uk/images/converted_files/uploads/444/photo.JPG" height="525" width="700" border="0" /></div>

Nice car nzo. I agree the car turns heads from old gentlemen to young kids. They all gawp as you drive past.<br /><br />First time I've seen the side decals. Wouldn't be my choice but each unto their own.

Nice car there NZO. I still have to wait until March for mine, but am getting ever anxious for when I do eventually get my hands on it.<div> </div><div>Seems like you've certainly been using the car - which is great to see! I can't wait until the Summer though .. less grit and dirt on the road.</div><div> </div><div>Singh</div>

Hi NZO<br />Nice looking car - visually much the same as mine except for the decals, although I do have the skirts (design pack I think) which don't seem to stop the crap getting plastered to the sides of the car. I think the white is actually good value as a no cost option on the car as it has a colour change feature which alters it to various shades of grey & brown. Keeps you from getting bored with just the white!<br />You're obviously like me. Sod the weather & enjoy it every day!<br />Have fun

Does all that crap and grit not damage the paint work and corrode it? <br />I took mine out last week and after just two hours it was really dirty so put it away again. <br /><br /><edited><editID>Jagman14</editID><editDate>2015-01-09 09:06:22</editDate></edited>

Mine is absolutely filthy.<br /><br />I work on the principle that the car will probably lose between £500 and £1000 per month anyway in depreciation so a few quid extra because it gets dirty isn't going to make that much difference.

<div><br></div><div>I think the same except I also consider that if I'm paying for it each moth I want to be driving it as much as possible!</div>

True but does not also mean you have to pay to get the paint work and underbody done again? <br /><br />Dumb question this I know but.... If the car is not doing the miles and is really low mileage and in mint condition does that not offset some of the depreciation per month? <br /><br />I do wonder how much our 2014 cars are worth now given the new range of models and the change in year. <br />Has anyone had it valued or have any idea how much they have lost? <br /><br />

I got mine just before Christmas. Not washed it yet as it's quite a mucky road leading up to my house, plus the general slush and crap on the road will get it all dirty in 5 minutes.<div><br></div><div>I ran a white S5 before this and the dirt doesn't cause any problems - as long as the paint isn't chipped anywhere. </div><div><br></div><div>Been really busy at work, so I've barely seen the car in the daylight even. I took this photo while I was stood outside the office having a fag :)</div><div><br></div><div>For some reason, none of the limited colour options on the configurator appealed to me but white seemed best when combined with the roof and black wheels. The decals were a last minute thing - it's not like the car is going to blend in, especially as I'm still driving it in maximum noise mode!</div><div><br></div>

<div><br></div><div>This is my daily car. As soon as it's not dark when I leave for work / go home, I'll start cleaning it. If anything, the dirt may help to protect it (unless it's road salt!)</div><div><br></div><div><br></div>

Wonderful NZO, love the configuration, as you say something a little different. I like the bonnet decors, not seen this before, looks good !!<div><br></div><div>It you want to protect your car as you use it as a daily, I would recommend Zaino AIO polish, this is a really really good polish, not only does it make the car shine really well, but nothing sticks to it, so washing is a lot easier ! and if you really want to make the car 'pop' go over the AIO with Zaino Z2 topped off with the Z6 detailing spray which can be used after each wash. I tried almost everything on the market and while the exotic waxes like dodo juice supernatural give stunning shines, they do not last in winter driving conditions.</div><div><br></div><div>If you look through the forum you will find a post I did called 'wax or sealant' it explains everything.</div><div><br></div><div>Happy motoring !</div><div>Jamie</div>

<p>Im trying not to think about depreciation , I got the spec I wanted at the price I wanted 6 months ago... I intend to keep my car for a fair few years... yes they are bringing new models out , however I cant really see much improvement over my existing v6s to warrant loosing money just to upgrade to a manual etc.. As soon as the weather improves I will be getting every penny of fun out of my F type.. </p>

Nice looking car nzo. First decals in the UK I believe?<div><br></div><div>Most of my previous cars have been garage queens (nr concours). I do however find myself going out in the Jaag, just because I can, AND it makes me smile like a kid - Now that's what I call fun motoring, and I'd pay anything for that!</div><div><br></div><div>If you have a chance before the car gets covered in muck, get it up on ramps and give it some form of corrosion protection underneath (there's plenty of aftermarket chemicals out there). </div><div>This will seal the porous metal, like the Aluminium. That way, if you do venture out on a chilly night and the daft lads at the council have been out with their salt cellar, just a quick wash with a hose underneath, and you are good to go, and the rot won't set in. </div><div>With all the dissimilar metals on these cars and the salt air where I live, they are live a battery on 4 wheels, and if you don't wash and wax often, things turn to dust!</div>
