Good morning team. My 50th is coming up on 28 January and I've decided I'd like a Jaguar. The brand has roots with my family as my Aunt always had an E-type and I remember those beautiful cars around her home for years growing up. Sometimes they even worked! 
. They also had 70's and 80's Range Rovers. My uncle was a sales manager at British Motorcars for a long time. They always had beautiful automobiles. Some time I'll post about how he unwitting outran the California highway patrol for an hour and they had to set up a roadblock to stop him... He had no idea. That big V12 was just so smooth and fast.
Fast forward to today. I'd really like to own an F-type. I don't have the free cash to afford anything new and since this will be my #3 weekend car, I don't have any desire buy buy high and let it sit in the garage most of the time. I want a driver's car that I can enjoy. I'd also prefer the V8 since I'm an idiot and like loud noises and going fast. I have found a car that is reasonably priced, but when I look into it, it has a theft recovery on the history. It appears it was gone for 2 days and recovered. It does not report any damage, so I'm thinking it was a jopyride. It DOES also have a lot of owners and a lot of reports of being up for sale then moved to another dealer. All red flags I know.. Should I be more concerned about this car if I'm not particularly concerned about resale? I'd probably keep it for 10+ years and drive it around assuming it remains in working order. I have an RX7 (Attached file) that I bought in 1997 that I love,. but it's a hug pain in the rear. Some day I'll get it going again but for now it sits and I really want a Jaguar.
Any advice is welcome. Please keep in mind I an admittedly clueless when it comes to the Jaguar so be nice. I've looked at them for 9 years now and done some research, but I don't have any first hand experience.
