New Rear tail light indicator flashing red instead of amber

I have acquired a second hand OSR tail light for my f type v8s and when plugged in the indicator flashes red instead of amber. Is it possible that the tail light is an American model? Do the lights need coding into the car through jaguar or anything?
Any help will be appreciated.
 
Correct ~ You have a US rear cluster.
You could take it apart and probably replace the leds, but it's s real cafuffle.
