Hi everyone,

Just joined the forum. I have a 2015 F Type convertible 3.0S in Dark Sapphire Metallic with Ivory interior with numerous additional packs/additions.

I also own a 1973 Jaguar E Type Series 3 V12 OTS in signal red and a 1973 Corvette Stingray C3 also in red.

I am still learning about the F Type as I have only owned it for 8 weeks. I keep coming across additional extras just by using the car. I realised this evening that I have the upgraded lighting pack with adaptive lights etc.!!

Hope to learn more!

Mike

Wow! My all time favourite E Type Series 3 V12. Welcome and get some pics up and especially of the E Type :)

Thanks for the welcome everyone.
How do you post photos?
Mike

Mike,
The simplest way is to have the photos on your device.
Go to the reply box and tap on "attachments"
Then "add files".
It should take you to the storage on your device.
Find the photo and open it and you should see it uploading.
Once uploaded, place the cursor in the reply box and tap on "place inline"
Do the same for any other photos the tap on "preview" to make sure it's all ok then submit it as normal.
There are ways of adding links to external storage sites etc to post photos but the above is easy.

Must organise a side by side photo with the F Type.

What a great idea :D

I don't care much for 'older' cars and would rather have a cold than something like a Moggie 1000. The V12 E Type is the stand out exception, for me. In my mind I imagine a close run thing for style and good looks but will the F Type seem as timeless as the E in 40 years?

Indeed! Both have looks to die for!
However, The E Type is very basic without any electronic gizmos that can go wrong! An amateur like me can do the basics on the E. So in 40 years not sure the F Type will be as easy to maintain and get parts! But the burning question is will we have access to petrol in 40 years time?

And the Corvette Stingray C3 1973
