And be on an Audi forum!

At least Audi has "woodline" as an option..

So they allow individual choices, not all shades of grey and black.. :?

Well, they have to do something to try to make their cars exciting ...

I found a potential candidate. A V6S AWD convertible from 2016, for sale in Germany at a Jaguar dealer. I sent them a list of questions, if the respons is positive, I may go and have a look at it soon. It is sort of at the top of my budget, but that's not a problem if everything checks out.

I'll update the thread if there are any developements :)

Did you check with your car insurance what level of alarm you need ? If you need life tracking,
you probably need to fit an aftermarket device as the factory version is set for Germany.

Given the prices of the JLR subscription, it could be a cheaper option anyway...

Today I signed the papers, the F-Type is coming! An insurance-approved tracking system will be mounted once it is in the Netherland by the company that is doing the import for me. When all is done, the car will be delivered to my home, should be in about 3 weeks.

Pics will follow, these are the main specs:
- V6 S Convertible AWD (2016)
- Storm Grey Premium Metallic
- Exterior Design Pack with Black Pack
- Black 20 inch Tornado wheels
- Performance seats in brown premium leather

It also comes with a new MOT (APK we call it) good for 2 years, a fresh service and 2 years of Jaguar Approved warranty.

I'll post pictures once I have the car.

It is a dream come true! I sort of cannot believe it yet, it'll probably not really sink in until I actually take delivery! Gonne be 3 looong weeks...

Thanks! It is definately more "gentleman" than my bright red S2000. The seats are not really tan, it's a darker brown (brogue I think the name of the color is). But it looks great and very "chique".

Well, still waiting on the car here. As it looks now, the car should be arriving at the import company tomorrow or Friday. At the earliest, the car could be delivered to me by the end of next week, so still at least a week to wait. Not that big a deal though, with all the snow, ice and salt on the roads I wouldn't take it out anyway.

I did buy my first accessory though, got a CTEK MXS 5.0 battery charger/maintainer to hook up as the car will not be driven daily (or even weekly). I have one for my S2000 as well and it works great, never had any battery issues even though that car is sometimes parked for months. In fact, I started it last week after not having run for 4-5 months and it started right up without any hesitation. It will need to be moved soon as the F will take its spot in the garage.

Sander,

Return the CTEK, its not really necessary to keep cars 24/7 on a charger.
You can easily switch this between cars. I use one for my F-Type, D5 and tractor. Just one week at a stretch.

Never have a problem..

The car got delivered yesterday! So happy with it, a dream come true!

Congrats Sander, your car looks stunning. Wishing you great moments behind the wheel and watching it too.
The side vents look finished in body color, or is it an impression?
