Hi everyone đź‘‹
Picked up my Reims edition at the weekend, my recent car history has been:

Focus ST (blue)
Scirocco R (blue)
BMW m140i (...blue)
Grey Model 3 perf edition + a few years of sadness
Ftype! (Lovely blue)

Such a beautiful car, and it attracts so much (positive) attention, unlike the Tesla where I recently got called a genocide supporter! Can't actually knock the Tesla as a "transport tool", very reliable, insanely quick (in a straight line), cheap to run, just boring.

At first I was a little disappointed with the sound (my 140 straight 6 really purred low down) but then I removed fuse 15 and now it's absolutely purrrfect, night and day difference.

Not the best pics, will post a few more in a few weeks once it's been detailed!

Congratulations - it looks superb in that finish, and a good time of year to get it with plenty of spring and summer ahead.

Couldn't agree more on fuse 15 - it's how it should have sounded all along and quite a contrast to a Tesla! Enjoy.

How do you find the V8 compared to your M140i?

Power to weight ratio across the two cars is similar, and unfortunately I'm finding the p450 is struggling to put the power down just like the 140i did! Right now I have a little bit of buysers remorse thinking I should have gone AWD however equally I've got pirellis on the car @ 4mm, and it's like 10 degress, so it could just be that. Gonna wear them into the summer then switch to michellins.

In terms of sound, the 140 has a remus system and a 200cel cat and sounded incredible, but it does not beat the v8 now i've removed fuse 15, i don't even need to drive hard to hear the most beautiful purr!

Looks wise, undoubtably a more beautiful car.

Nice car, and they do get a lot of attention, as you do stand out from the crowd. I know with new rubber, the grip will greatly improve and the enjoyment.
