Hi Guys<div><br></div><div>First got my R back in January, without causing too much fuss it needed to be changed and Jaguar agreed to this.</div><div><br></div><div>This is the replacement, the color is Caldera red with carbon accessories, the splitter and side skirts I had hydro dipped as I prefer the contrast I personally think it gives my car a more meaner stance lol!!</div><div><br></div><div>All the best JP.<img src="http://www.ftypeforums.co.uk/images/converted_files/uploads/591/IMG_00151.JPG" height="525" width="700" border="0" /><img src="http://www.ftypeforums.co.uk/images/converted_files/uploads/591/IMG_00121.JPG" height="525" width="700" border="0" /><img src="http://www.ftypeforums.co.uk/images/converted_files/uploads/591/IMG_00191.JPG" height="525" width="700" border="0" /></div>

Very nice!<div> </div><div>I have the IRR in very much the same color combo as you (black pack with carbon accessories - mirrors and the air ducts), and I do think mine would suit side skirts and splitters in carbon too.</div><div> </div><div>If I get a bit boored, I might consider doing that ;)</div><div> </div><div> </div>

Hi JP,<div><br></div><div>Welcome to the FTOC - hope you find some usefull stuff here!</div><div><br></div><div>Looks great, certainly looses some of the 'fat' look that the colour coded R bits add.</div><div><br></div><div>Hydrodipping finish looks good. I went for the wrap in Piano Black with xpel on top, so that I can revert back to standard or another colour further down the line.</div><div><img src="http://www.ftypeforums.co.uk/images/converted_files/uploads/332/DSC_0005.jpg" height="426" width="640" border="0" /><br></div><div><br></div><div>Do you have any details on removing the side sills? I have had a look under the car, but it looks like a bit of a mare as I can't see a 'way in'?</div>

Hi Tel<div><br></div><div>I will find the link, it was printed onto the instructions for the carbon parts. In effect it pretty much tells how to dismantle the car!!</div><div><br></div><div>JP.</div>

Hi JP,<div>Welcome, I love the <span style="line-height: 1.4; : rgb251, 251, 253;">Hydrodipping looks superb.</span></div><div><span style="line-height: 1.4; : rgb251, 251, 253;"><br></span></div><div><span style="line-height: 1.4; : rgb251, 251, 253;">S</span></div>

Arne - The 'S' sills are smaller than the 'R' model. <div><br></div><div>I think it is in preparation for the SVR which will have almost as big a sills as the Project 7!</div><div><br></div><div>Also, is this is a replacement car JP? What happened to the other one?</div>

</div><div> </div><div>Are the "S" sills on 16-models the same size as "R" sills on 15 models, or are there 3 different versions of the sills now?</div><div> </div><div> </div>

<div><br></div><div>The S V6 (<span style="line-height: 1.4;">or V8</span><span style="line-height: 1.4;"> if you get a late one), runs on the older style smaller sill mouldings. The R has the fatter style, with colour coordinated rear venturi and sills/front aero splitters.</span></div>

That is still sat in the showroom, my original car went back to the dealers and was resold, I do not know if the faults were rectified I am afraid .<br /><br />JP.

<blockquote> <p>your car looks amazing! I love the hydro dipped skirts etc. really sets it off.</p></blockquote> <br /><br />Thanks I thought so, I also had the blade alloys re-finished to gloss black without the polished lip, again not to everyone's taste but I like it!!<br /><br />Would post more pics but dropped my phone in the toilet at the dealers earlier, now no silly jokes guys ok!!! Lol.<br />JP

3rd time lucky JP - Hope this one works out well for you. We are on our second!<div><br></div><div>Do you know how the side sills are taken off? </div><div><br></div><div>I have had a look see underneath, but there is nothing obvious....</div>

Hi Tel<br /><br />I will dig the info out over the next couple of days, the funny thing was once the main side skirts come off the sills at the bottom as well as bolted are cable tied on!!!!<br /><br />JP

The last mod for me is to have the steering wheel re trimmed in the Alcantara to match the headlining and perhaps add some to the door card inserts also, there is a great guy in Leicester who I have used before so that will be in the next few weeks, I will post some photos once done ,<br /><br />JP.

Hey JP<br />Could you post the details on the sills<br />I have a early R and want to retro fit the wider sills
