Well at least it’s totally different from the existing one - unlike Porsche’s new badge!
But dear me how poor and unimaginative.

It looks to me like a 2 for 1 deal with British Rail.

…I’m guessing the severely cut down “J” is indicative of the emancipation of the true values and driving pleasure of future Jaguars.

Marketing departments, don't you just love them. Not only has the logo costs millions in development, patent's and marketing at what point does it resemble the Jaguar brand?

The name Jaguar appeared on cars since 1945 (with the previous logo being SS) and the famous leaper on the logo from early 80's (which used to be the Jaguar face beforehand).

I think the marketing team may have spent 15 minutes shopping online at Johnny Lives Rosie for some handbags, had a thought, nipped over to shutterbox to adjust some letters and then nipped to the pub for the afternoon.





The brand has history. Most people see the leaper logo or an E-Type and they will say Jaguar. Show me JLR in that font and I'll say handbags.

Just my opinion. With Jaguar becoming a £100k+ electric only premium cars very soon, I can potentially see it disappearing soon. I would love to see there market research backing this strategy.

Panic over, the cars will have the same branding, Jaguar Land Rover is becoming JLR so there is a new logo for that…….

A lot of this smacks of rearranging the deck chairs on the Titanic.
A new logo doesn’t mask the serious issues at home.

Land Rover ceases to exist replaced by Range Rover, Defender & Discovery as the brands. Forget the 70 year history, but, strange how the smart Chinese buy brands like MG to market their cheap cars..

All but 20 Jaguar dealers to close announced 2 months ago,, so that doesn’t bode well for this part of the JLR group.

Edit - forgot to add the new agency model from 2024 with fixed price, no discount, buy on line or in dealer. JLR decides on any trade in.
Wouldn’t want to be a Jaguar dealer soon..
