Near 700hp now

Remapped, both pullies, larger intercooler and a full custom remote valved exhaust with most of the work done by Viezu and the car runs sweet now. Need to fit springs to firm it up slightly but that's it now. Can't really go much further realistically. Exhaust is especially good as either Tesla quiet or Nascar loud. 🙂
 
How much torque is that pumping out, everyone reckons that the ZF8 installed can only handle 516lbs of torque though i have a stage 1 Viezu P450 tune with close to 560lbs and it handles it and that car feels bloody rapid...

Is it AWD?

It must be like a bloody rocket...
 
Torques around 950nm. Yes I know the gearbox rating but it's my car and I drive it sensible unlike top gear etc so should be fine. Its AWD as well. Will do some V Box times soon to see what it's now doing. Was 3.6 to 60 before so hopping for 3 now. Gbox is too slow to get much better and sod all I can do about that as mine won't remap I've been told. 2017 face-lift car.
 
Seems like it. TBH I didn't buy the car for outright pace, the roof goes down for the summer and hopefully an Alps tour in August where it will be perfect!😎
 
the box is exactly the same in all jags with zf8 gearbox and as for nearly 700hp.....yea right lol

There's a few been running early 600's since way back in 2014/15.

I'm surprised you're getting near 700 without larger injectors tbh. Is there a dyno plot?

Yep, 660 dyno graph at Viezu prior to other bits going on so probably 670ish on a cool day. About 100 down on my last 3 cars.
 
I was just reading through this old thread and thought that higher hp f types might be getting more common now.

I had my car stage 2 remapped and the top pulley swapped by DMA Automotive and it hits 656 hp. Viezu is now offering a 775hp remap along with the top and bottom pulley changed, the air filters swapped and the cooler enlarged.

The green machine on YouTube states it’s 700hp, and I have no reason to question it.

My concern is can our F types handle the extra power without catastrophic damage? DMS told me that they wouldn’t take mine any further as they couldn’t guarantee it would not cause me problems.

Has anyone on here got a top end remap and put some large miles down. I’d be very interested to know how it’s going please.

The gearbox fitted to all F Types is the 8HP70, so good for 700nm or about 516ft lb.
I would guess the tolerance built into it means it could probably handle lots more for short bursts.
