I have a Meguiars DA that takes 5" pads, it's decent. I've done the bonnet on my car, and previous vehicles, and it did a good job. However, it's probably a bit too big for those beautiful curves down the side of my coupe and the other intricate bits such as mirrors, door jambs, etc. so I'm thinking of getting a mini/nano polisher. Seen plenty of good reviews for the Rupes nano and the Flex PXE. I'm leaning towards the Rupes as I can get a kit (with an extender and 1" and 2" plates) and a couple of pads for £400. The Flex would be about £520 with the APS kit for roughly the same although it would also allow the use of conical pads which the Rupes doesn't. I really cannot make my mind up. The quick release doesn't matter to me as I'll probably only use it 6 times a year on my 2 vehicles. Can anybody recommend either who has actually used them? Cheers!
