My Silver AWD R beast

I took the opportunity for a quick blast into the Peaks early doors hoping for a nice view, but the fog was so thick I bailed out. Anyhow so the photos are not quite what I had intended but never mind!<div>I'm going to get the gloss black grill surround done when it's in stock with the dealer - but apart from that the car is exactly what I want. More pics if the weather complies!</div><div><br></div><div><img src="https://c8.staticflickr.com/9/8410/30184969535_37b5d20f76_z.jpg" border="0" /></div><div><br></div><div><img src="https://c3.staticflickr.com/6/5800/30151793906_616bea310e_z.jpg" border="0" /></div><div><br></div><div><img src="https://c7.staticflickr.com/6/5596/29890662070_95e32c8e73_z.jpg" border="0" /></div>

Thanks!<div>I can only compare it to my 997 C4S - that was AWD but a lot less power meant that it was virtually impossible to get the back to step out and it always felt planted under full acceleration. The V8 is a different beast; even for an AWD drivetrain it's noticeably a lot more twitchy. It wriggles a bit on full acceleration even on the straight and feels like a handful. Early morning cold tyres and winter roads could be interesting..</div>

Weirdly mine has the black side vents and window surround but body coloured bonnet vents. It was specced with the black pack however the previous owner must have wanted body coloured AWD bonnet vents instead. It doesn't bother me at all.

<blockquote> I have a AWD bought from new. The AWD vents are body color, no choice.... but then again so elegant!</blockquote> <br /><br />Ah I thought I'd read that somewhere

<div><br></div><div>They came body coloured as standard - but I got the dealer to swap them for the black ones; a mate had a V12 Vantage with black bonnet louvres and I always loved that aggressive look. It's going in to the dealer for the gloss black front grill just before the breakfast club meet - then it will be complete!</div><div><br></div><div>Just the scuffed alloy and paintwork chips I found on delivery for the dealer to rectify - but they are minor minor points.</div>

If I were you on a silver car I wouldn't swap the grille - the black plastic is actually fairly soft and scratches pretty easily. Your car looks great as it is!

thanks - but the deed is done (well sort of). It has to anyway to satisfy my "grill matching up" OCD. I'm not sure what do do about the silver badges - ideally I'd like them black too. Interesting that it scratches easily, but I'm not too fussed - I am bad about keeping my cars clean so I can live with it!

There are pics in my introduction thread if you want to see how it looks
