My 23 year old F-Type

TH51 JAG Version 1.0 - Where it all began - unbelievably 23 years ago.

The current registration style was brand new. My initials are TH and my first ever new car purchase was a Jaguar. OK it was only an X-Type but the whole package was pretty flash at the time. :D

TH51 JAG - Version 2.0 worked better on a 5 litre car.

Great looking X250 there. So you had the rather rare N/A AJ133 version?

Thanks. Yes, it was very rare in the UK. Not quite as quick as the Supercharged version but a lot more subtle. A real Q-Car.

you like jags then

I've always had a soft spot for Jaguars but have preferred 911s for weekend fun/roadtrips over the last 15 years.

The X-Type was me opting out of the company car scheme in 2001 when the tax rules changed and using my 'car allowance' to 90% fund buying it new. It was a newly launched car and an alternative to the ubiquitous 3 series.

The XF was bought to fulfil family taxi requirements and was my wife's choice. The 5 litre engine was my idea as I do 95% of the driving. :) We had it for 8 years.

The F-Type was recently acquired to scratch an itch I've had since when I first saw a picture of one and fell in love with the looks. It will be sharing fun and road trip duties with my 911.

The Reg' plate was held on retention from 2004 to 2016. I knew I 'd have another Jaguar one day and couldn't bear to part with it. It's served me well. ;)

This was always my favourite view. The sunroof was rare too.

Amazing car and so nice to see one in silver. If you invert the colours it reminds me of the one I had before the F-Type, which also was quite a rare version which never was sold in the UK - The 3.0 (AJ126) Supercharged AWD which I ran with a 415 hp tune.

Nice. If I'd have kept our XF I'd have refurbed the wheels in 2 tone like that - Dark grey with Silver rim.
