Minor Exhaust Leak MOT Advisory

Morning all,

I’m in the market for an F-Type and found a seemingly good example aside from the MOT has this advisory:

Exhaust has a minor leak of exhaust gases (6.1.2a)

Does anyone have any experience with this or any idea of the cost worst case scenario?

Ask the seller for detail on it.

It could just be a slight gas dirt mark, for instance where the back box pipes join the main section.

...or it could be something buried nearer the headers / cats.

…or it could be a small split from the exhaust hitting a road bump or something.
