Manual rear spoiler not working

Hello,

I noticed today that the rear spoiler won't extend or retract using a switch.
According to the manual, a quick press of the switch is sufficient.

The switch illumination, which indicates the function, also goes out immediately.

In automatic mode, it works perfectly; it extends at about 115 km/h and retracts at about 85 km/h.

Has anyone had a similar experience?

I take it you’re on the move when doing that?

If stationary you need to keep the button pressed as a finger trap protection feature.

Assuming so, try letting it rise then manually pressing the button to keep it up and see if it stays up as you slow down.

If not it would appear you have a corroded or broken wire between the switch and actuator - or maybe the switch needs removing and a good spray of contact cleaner.
