Hi all,
Looking to lower the car withaybe H&R springs and fit some 20mm spacers. The car is 2018 3.0 Rdynamic. Any help, advice, do's or don'ts greatly appreciated. Pic is of the car as it is now.
Thanks

Hello Nick,

Three options. H&R drop 30mm. Look great but more likely to be scraping something. VAP go 22mm. I love the drop, noticeable but more practical. KW adjustables, can be set at differing heights.

Most fit 15mm spacers. Not sure if 20mm will catch especially if going H&R. You don’t want to look fandango.

Timbo & Alasdair have H&R (RWD R) & KW (SVR) they will give you there experience of them.

DaddyDarren,
Thanks for the reply and great info. I was steering away from 15mm spacers as I've been told the studs are too long and difficult to fit?

The studs work as-is with the carbon fibre wheels as their cutouts are deeper. For other wheels the advice I've seen is to grind off the non threaded ends to make them fit.

I've Eibach springs, 15mm spacers all round on gyrodynes, had to cut the non thread piece off each stud, no big deal, upgraded tyres to 305 rears and 265 fronts no rubbing issues

I have a set of brand new Eibach V6\V8 RWD lowering springs which I've never installed. Would be open to offers if that's the way you want to go.

Theres a difference in the Eibach springs for V6 and V8 models

I understood part number E10-45-007-01-22 is for both V6S and V8S RWD models, but a different part number for the AWD V8R.

From Eibach website.

Set of Pro-Kit coil springs suitable into:
Jaguar F-type Convertible (X152), F-type Coupe (X152)
IMPORTANT
Without levelling control.
Except vehicels with 4WD.

I think you are correct as the pic is of the ones I've been looking at and have same part numberScreenshot_20210921-125742.jpg

take care with getting the correct springs as i the v6 and v8 are differant weights and thus differing springs for the extra engine weight on the v8, i know Velocity AP and H&R are differant v6 to v8.

check out autodoc, i had a set from them great price and delivery, just 4 hours for my indi to fit including new rear pads and spacers.

Gagas, when I looked at H&R on autodoc they were silly money, could buy them much cheaper elsewhere whereas eibach on autodoc were a lot cheaper than anywhere else. Strange.

Mines the 2.0 and the springs for the V6 fit perfectly with no issues

Hi Powerhouse,

Sorry different topic but do those rear spoilers by Maxton fit perfectly on the ‘18 model? On their site it says it’s not for the facelift. I really like the look!

Answer is they can with a small modification, there only made for the base model rear diffuser, if you have the black pack as I have you will have the same as me, mine is 2018 also , I bought them but had to make 2 side pieces to make up a 1" gap circled in orange, quite tricky but got it done.
From pic I have the rear Maxton rear boot spoiler lip fitted also, I am selling it shortly as I have a OEM fixed spoiler going on if interested.

It was my initial reaction about the gap seen on the second white car image. Although it’s photographed from an angle to minimise the visibility of the issue it was my immediate reaction as to how would it be concealed?
Nice work to mod it to fit. Just the stuff I love doing, but to your point tricky (and time consuming)
Good result though :)
