Evening,

I am getting this warning if the car is left for 24 hours despite having been on 100 mile round trip ??

Any known causes or issues

It could be old battery car is 6 years old ?? Any info greatly appreciated.

2017 V8

Double lock the car. Does the hazard warning triangle go out 10 mins after locking the car?

It'd help to give your battery an overnight charge to make sure it's fully charged, then start diagnosing from a known point. Regarding the hazard switch light - if it doesn't go out after about 15 minutes the "fix" is to disconnect a battery lead for a few minutes, then reconnect. That should reset any "stuck" modules.

I'm not convinced that driving the car will ever fully charge a depleted battery - I periodically give mine the overnight charge treatment if I haven't used it much.

6/7 years old just get a new battery.

And fully charge it before fitting (or after, if you prefer) - they're rarely fully charged off the shelf, apparently.

Oh, and if you're under InControl put it in service mode before removing the old battery to avoid triggering alerts.
