The 'no badge' option only stops them attaching the model version to the right. It's no big deal to remove the F-Type badge if you want to, but it is worth noting in case you go down that road and get a surprise like myself.
In my case, I've left the F-Type badge anyway as it's in black and I have a dark paint colour (Portofino Blue), so it barely shows up.
That's a good point. Seems like Jaguar have been doing it this way for quite some time. Both my previous Jags were specced without badges but still came with the model badge to the left, which of course was easily removed on day 1 of ownership. I remember it used to be the same with Audi, while a BMW my wife specced without badges really came completely badge free.
It's a nice touch that you can get black badges and lettering now. On "R-Dynamic" cars the R-Dynamic badge in the grill still always seems to be silver though. Also easily modified... the R-Dynamic grill badge is the only unnecessary exterior badge left on my car because it's too much of a faff to remove it but I've blacked it out so it's barely visible like your F-Type badge.
