Just bought a F-Type V6S in Caldera Red

Hi,

Just thought I'd introduce myself having just bought a 2017 V6S with 28'000 on the clock.

It had to be red!

The one hour drive home re confirmed I'd made the right decision.

I had a good look over it with the dealer and accepted I would need to sandblast and repaint the rear subframe over the winter. Having seen on the forum this is a common problem so if I wanted an F Type at the price I wanted to pay then this was going to be something I will have to address.

This will be used most days but have a Volvo XC70 for more basic and bad weather duties.

Looking forward to the rest of the summer!!!

same as you I bought mine last end of May and the 4 hours drive back re confirmed I also did the right choice. It's a magic and wonderful car !
Mine is also a red one same MY as yours, color : Italian Racing Red !
Welcome to the red F-type members ;)
I also have to take care of my rear subframe to make sure it is under control.
Have a look also at the exhaust valves as mine were stuck in the open position. I had to change the exhaust (under warranty ;))
