JEC 2017 convoy meet 28th May

I'm up for a Northern meet But Wales is the midlands. <div>Yorkshire / Northumberland / Durham / Cumbria - now that's up north.....<img src="http://www.ftypeforums.co.uk/images/converted_files/smileys/smiley2.gif" border="0" alt="Wink" title="Wink" /></div>
 
I had thought about organising a run for charity, £50 each etc. Possible start point somewhere near Guildford, then down the A3 through the Hindhead tunnel (1.2 miles long) and a finish say in Southsea on the seafront.<br><br>My guess is that it'd need approval by plod, so would take some time and effort to organise. If I get the time I might look into it a bit more at some point.<br>

Serious suggestion for us "northerners" - <div><br><div>Some members on this thread (Frp1, Gillie, Moz, Philmayfield, Megatron, The Jagster, Soupdragon and gsxrm3) and others may be interested in a "meet" up north......</div><div><br></div><div>How about "Sports cars in the Park" who are expecting over 500 cars attending their event at Newby Hall on 7th May. I went a few years ago and I'm going to go again this year.</div><div><br></div><div>They have a website if anyone's interested we could meet and attend as a group......</div><div><br></div><div>http://www.carsinthepark.org.uk/</div><div><br></div></div><div>Just a thought to get things rolling. </div><div>I might put up a new post to see if it attracts a wider audience.</div>

Several members on this thread have expressed an interest in going to Sports cars in the park at Newby Hall on 7th May.<div>To make things simple I have added a new post with full details so if you are interested - see the new post.</div><div><br></div><div>It would be great to get a few cars there if we can</div>
