James Bond would have chosen the F Type Coupe

Although James Bond started off driving a <font size="2"><span style=": rgb232, 231, 226;"><font color="#3a3a3a" face="Helvetica, Arial, sans-serif"><span style="line-height: 22px;">1930 Blower Bentley in the books it was only until a fan wrote to Ian Fleming suggesting to change the car to an Aston Martin DB3. I guess its time the producers of the Bond movies should do the same and listen to their fans...The F-Type Coupe is the car that 007 would drive, not that ridiculous, poncy, whale shark looking Aston!! That's an interesting couple of comparison shots. It makes Bond's new Aston look something like a Chinese F-Type copy...(ouch...sorry...that's perhaps a bit unkind, but hey, the F-Type came first right?)<br>In my opinion, the Aston designers shot themselves in the foot big time, by how they resolved the grille treatment, or to be more specific, the form of the front of the car. The way I see it, they basically sculpted a very nice, well balanced looking car and then slapped the Aston signature grill shape on the front of it like an after thought.<br><br>All that analyzing aside, I think the F-Type coupe looks a far more accomplished looking piece of automotive design....but then again, it aught to be, if project budgets are compared.<br><br>Hmm....I think the Aston looks too 'supercar' ...too squat, flashy and over the top compared to the Jag and on that basis, I think the Jag aught to be Bonds car. <br>
