Hi,
My F-Type on Sunday came up with this engine warning light (see attached engine symbol and text), I checked the Jaguar website and they say its a emissions fault and say I can drive the car, but it may reduce performance, this is an understatement, the car actually sounds and feels like a diesel tractor and I am concerned that if I do drive this whilst this is illuminated I may cause damage to the car/engine (even though Jaguar say you can drive it)
However since yesterday I have stopped driving the car
I have contacted 4 Jaguar service centres/ dealerships around my area (up to 20 miles), all of them have quoted me between 4-6 weeks before they can even see me
I can't believe a car that is 5 years old and has done less than 29,000 miles has this engine fault. I am looking to try and get in touch with Jaguar directly as surely this is a manufacturers issue and they should be taking this seriously
I spent the best part of 1-2 hours on the phone trying to get through to what I believe is the customer support centre
Does anyone have an email address or something that they can provide ?
