Does anyone have a lead on purchasing black hood insert replacements?

Mine are matched body color now, and I’d like to switch them to black.

This is a UK forum so to clarify, do you mean the bonnet/hood vents?

Sorry I didn’t know the hoods were different from the US to the UK.

Hoods are the same, but we call 'em bonnets. Like what you call the trunk we call the boot.
Dealers should be able to supply replacement vents (at a price!), not sure of the various part numbers, though.

If you're going to the trouble of changing them, why not just get yours resprayed?

I would just think they are pop out and pop new ones in. But I’m thinking it’s not that easy the way you guys are talking.

they pop in and out
you can get black / painted / wrapped all available on ebay or as others have said, paint of wrap your current ones but that might be more expensive and additional hassle vs just buying replacement ones

What do we think? I know it’s personal preference at the end of the day, but aren’t bonnet vents there to stand out as well as functionality? So gloss black or body colour?

When I looked at this I was given the below info

T2R20600LML £101.83 +vat
T2R20601LML £102.37 +vat

If I remember correctly they were in primer.
