Jaguar experience F-Type driving day

Anyone on here participated in the Jaguar experience F-Type driving day at Fen End?
I have registered for 8th Sept.
Apparently AWD and RWD available.

Could you provide some more details on this please as I can only see info about the 1hr SVR experience on the Jag website.
Thanks,

I received the following by email from JLR

F-TYPE’s award-winning design has evolved. The sculpted form is sharper, more athletic and expresses the sheer power concealed within. Under the bonnet, a new powerful 450PS V8 replaces the V6 engine, complete with active exhaust for the distinctive crackle and pop on the overrun. Taking you from 0-60mph in 4.4 seconds, this engine is available in both all and rear-wheel drive. The driving-focused character continues in the cabin with a new Interactive Driver Display. Switch seamlessly between the large central rev counter or 12.3-inch digital map display modes on the monitor, so you can enjoy F-TYPE's performance without interruption.  We're offering you the chance to take the driver's seat in a New F-TYPE P450 V8 at one of our exclusive driving events, where you’ll get the opportunity to put
F-TYPE to the test at our Fen End proving ground. Places are limited and by invitation only, so book early to avoid disappointment.

I’m booked on for the 18th. I wasn’t going to bother when I saw it was a couple of hours away, but then I realised they had the test track and thought that could be more fun than a road drive!

I tried and website crashed, now all spaces are taken.
Yes I left the decision for a couple of hours, then all that was left was 0830-1130.
Given it's about 5 hours away🤔 want to make sure it's worth it.

Never, WHY?

When we have the best MY for looks and noise. Mines a keeper.

hope everyone going has a good time - fen end is a nice facility, track is good fun too
You'll be paired with either a salesman (or saleswoman) or a pro driver, in previous events the pro driver has taken customers out for a few laps then the customer gets a go. Driver/instructor will be in the passenger seat giving you some pointers and a few rules for example "take the top end corner at no quicker than 60, then you can pin it"

If booking in on the 5th, you are about 20 mins from the Jaguar breakfast club meet which is on from 9am until around 12.30 ish where people then head over to Caffeine and Machine so you might be able to make it a full day trip....
(you'll need tickets for both Breakfast Club & C&M - avaliable on their websites)

Series 1 is the one Rob - agreed.

Let us have some feedback form the day out please - I'm hoping to be back in Blighty end of first week of Sept.

His long do you actually get to drive, is it like 15 minutes then have to hand over to another participant or several drives or 30 minutes.
Still trying to decide if it's worth leaving at 04:00hrs to get from Dorset for my 08:30hrs slot.

sorry no idea on actual drive time, depends on driver competency and instructor on the day. Routine may have also completely changed due to covid, maybe something to keep in mind
