Jaguar Breakfast Club Sat 2nd November

Very busy at Gaydon today, with lots of F type's attending. Bonus was the relatively mild weather, for November. I've known it to be colder during the summer 🤣.

It was a great day. Managed to drive mine down the dirtiest, wettest road enroute so it looked liked i had taken it across a plowed field. But never mind, the mud made mine unique 😀

Some beautiful cars old and new - lovely set of e-types at the front (and if I’m allowed to say it here, an amazing ford cortina in the car park - vinyl roof anyone? Took me back to my youth!). Tj7456 - loved the ploughed field effect! 😆

My first car was a hand-me-down of my Dad's company Mk 5 Cortina 2L. It was a proper motor - rear-wheel drive and all! Lovely feel to the 4-speed manual shift. No vinyl roof though - my Dad was respectable! :-)
Of course after a while it failed the MOT with a badly rusted chassis.
I then inherited a Volvo hatchback that was the most wretched, hateful thing I've ever driven. Got rid of that as soon as I could.
