Just booked up and looking forward to seeing fellow ftypers on Saturday. Hopefully see a few guys who were at the Wilton meet-up last October

Hi Alasdair

Travelling from Reading so will make slight detour and meet up with you guys, see you then.

I've booked an Airbnb nearby for the Friday night so might miss out on the convoys but looking forward to seeing all the cars and meeting more of you there!

Sounds like a plan - I will try and join!

Doesn't it start at 10am though and this would make us super early? Gotta sell an early start to the better half you see

Just checked Google maps - 64 miles from Beaconsfield services to museum - so about half an hour’s drive for those with a V8… ;)

Actually website says it starts 9.30am and to arrive by 10am to guarantee a display place so meeting at 8.15am with aim of setting off by 8.30am makes sense (if you can be bothered with the slightly early start)
I am bringing my teenage daughter with me so might struggle to persuade her that an early start is a good idea!

Travelling from Herts but aiming to arrive by 09.30 as need to leave by 10.30 for another gathering (people not cars). Hoping for some good photos of my R in a sea of F Types and a breakfast roll.
Shame it's a fleeting visit but sort of on the way to the other event and an hour is probably all my wife will want to stand in the cold for.

This makes sense - will drag the other half out of bed in good time then haha

Caught up in family plans elsewhere for the day, but would be ok for breakfast at Beaconsfield and can be there by 8.00. I'll park in an area that we can stack the cars up in if this is a popular idea.

I usually go most months and was looking forward to this one for obvious reasons, I understand JLR are supporting and will be bringing the rally version along. Sadly I have an appointment elsewhere ☹️, enjoy the day and please post some pictures here.

Hope the weather is kind.

I can tell you its pretty blooming wet here right now... Cats and dogs... not sure it'll be much drier tomorrow morning sadly. Take care all those travelling.

Shame I can't make it as would have liked to be at this one but can't be in two places.
Have a long run out in an iX3 M Pro. Not the same experience as the F Type, but like that solar panels on the roof and zero car tax give me cheap motoring..

Have a good time all

So I’m still a bit undecided at the moment due to the crappy weather, but if I go, is it still LFE for 0815.

Hoping the rain has done now. Regardless will be at LFE for 0815. The northerners are meeting 0730 at Woodhall services so I’ll wait around. Then joining a few Coventry folk on A46 just before M40.

Think they’ll be 200+ F-Types. Ain’t missing that. Hopefully see you in morning 👍

I’m 20 miles away from Gaydon. Forecast looking loads better tomorrow morning now with some overnight rain stopping at 8am then dry all day. I’ll be joining the M42 at junction 2 then M40 to Gaydon. May see a few of you on the way!
Safe trip to all who’s coming.
