Bumped into Peter Simpson, at the NEC Classic Car Show, on Friday. Peter runs & organisers the Jaguar Breakfast Club. JBC meets, every first Saturday of the month, at The British Motor Museum at Gaydon, Warwickshire 🇬🇧

2023 is the 10th anniversary of the F-Type. On Saturday 1st April 2023 the monthly meet will be putting on a special display of F-Types. Peter would like as many as possible attending.

For those who have never attended it is a great day out & chance to meet lots of owners plus hundreds of other Jaguars. A link to the website, for more information, is below. Going to ask a motoring photographer if he would come along to mark the day.

Sounds good.
Do people who come along to display their cars to the public - some from a fair distance - get free entry to the museum?
I’m sure that would encourage the good turn-out they are hoping for.

Unfortunately not. There's a fair number of F-types that regularly make the trip from Sheffield, Liverpool, Herts/Essex, and the South Coast. People sometimes post on here and join up on route

That said, I do know that the museum have allowed people to use the toilets without paying the entry fees. Although sometimes you just need to get out of the prevailing wind, as it's an old airfield!

Added to the diary.

I've only managed to make one previous event so about time I committed to a second one!

As long as this is not an April Fools, for which I would certainly qualify, I would attend in principle.

Always a good event during the warmer months, especially if it’s F Type focussed. Can be a brutal place in Winter to stand outside
Hope to be there

It does sound very tempting if the weather will be good.

Didn't get any free entry when I drove up from Luxembourg earlier this year, but if one can afford the petrol to get there one can probably afford the entry fee. ;)

It’s £14 for a yearly season ticket to the museum you can go to any event without having to purchase a ticket well worth it and gets some very good turnouts on my list be good to catch up with some of the regulars cheers Tony

The August “supercharged Saturday” event was really good. My first meet. Loads of F Types there. Got chatting to some real experts, probably without knowing some of you lot on here!

I have got to meet quite a few people through the breakfast club all very friendly and made me welcome all on this forum it’s a good place to put names to faces.

Great idea ~ I’ve put it in the diary. The last meet that I went to featured the Ftype, and there were thought to be about 100 there, be nice to beat that.
For those travelling from the south, last time, some of us met up first for breakfast at Gilks Garage Cafe, and then proceeded in a convoy to Gaydon ~ that was fun.
I agree with the comments that it can be really cold there.

Be good to see you Tony. Not been out, as much this year, due to house renovations. Nearly done though so booking lots of meets for 2023.

Shall we say 0815 at Leicester Forest East? 😄

Hope you keeping well 👍

Got this one on the diary now :) Will be fantastic to see loads of F-Types in one place! I've yet to see another one on the road since getting mine...
