I have been dreading this moment and what can I say chaps, I'm gutted!!!! Yes, Im afraid with great regret the time has come when I part with my F-Type.<img src="http://www.ftypeownersclub.co.uk/forum/smileys/smiley19.gif" border="0" alt="Cry" title="Cry" /> There has been some changes to our circumstances here in Italy and it looks like we will be going back to Blighty Brexit early next year!<div><br><div>Ive had the F-Type V6S 2013 for exactly 2 awesome fun years, she's been a dream come true for me and I consider myself very fortunate and privileged to have owned one. Considering I turned up with the car without my wife knowing I think Im bloody lucky that I kept the car and the family, mark my word the missus was not a happy bunny for many months...the risk paid off though!</div><div>As F-Types are an extremely rare breed here in Italy this forum has filled the gap for me to share my views, experiences, feeling more connected with a car we all love, having a laugh here and there and eventually meeting up with some members on a road trip, you've all been FANTASTIC!!!! Jess and Paul Francis, big thanks for the great memories I have now of the road trips we did this year.<img src="http://www.ftypeownersclub.co.uk/forum/smileys/smiley1.gif" border="0" alt="Smile" title="Smile" /> </div><div><br></div><div>There is one small consolation though with letting my F-Type go...getting another Jaguar...the F Pace will be taking her place instead, not the same I know, but Ive been smitten by Jaguar. I placed the order today and should get it by November.</div><div>For me the F-Type may not be all forgotten for me, I will restart dreaming again and maybe one day in the near future Ill have her back again, in red of course...</div><div>Guys, you've all been great and I wish you all the very best and for you all to fully enjoy to the max the fabulous and beautiful F-Type that you all have...don't forget chaps to be nice to each other and flash or wave when you see another F-Type on the road.<img src="http://www.ftypeownersclub.co.uk/forum/smileys/smiley36.gif" border="0" alt="LOL" title="LOL" /></div><div><br></div><div>Its been emotional.</div><div><br></div><div>Regards to you all from Monza, Italy</div><div>Joe</div></div><div><br></div><div><img src="http://www.ftypeforums.co.uk/images/converted_files/uploads/417/Ciao.jpg" height="463" width="700" border="0" /><br></div><div><br></div>

Joe....That's quite a shock. That's sad news. I hope you'll still keep in touch with us on the forum.<br><br>I'm sure there are many of us on here that are very interested to find out how you find your new F-Pace, so don't be a stranger.<br><br>Cheers,<br>Jagster <img src="http://www.ftypeforums.co.uk/images/converted_files/smileys/smiley16.gif" border="0" alt="Cool" title="Cool" /><br>

Thanks David, not having an F-Type anymore doesn't mean that I should completely erase you all from existence, of course I'll be in touch! I've ordered the F-Pace R sport 2L diesel, which Im looking forward too and I suppose to a certain degree easing the pain... a bit. When Im back in the UK...might even meet up with some of you guys to say hello.<div>My last weekend with my Jag and Ill be stripping her down with all the bits Ive added, chrome pedals, aluminium paddle shifts, wheel hub caps, valve caps, smart top mod (which I will offer on this forum) oh yeah, I must'n forget the Union Jack badge of course. They may be very small bits but they will be big for me...Ill at least have a part of the wonderful F-Type I had and have them on the F-Pace<img src="http://www.ftypeforums.co.uk/images/converted_files/smileys/smiley1.gif" border="0" alt="Smile" title="Smile" /> </div><div><div><br></div><div>Funny, reading a recent feed about the guy at the petrol station waiting for an F-Type to drive off just to hear the sound... I think I might be doing that myself from now on, don't know weather to <img src="http://www.ftypeforums.co.uk/images/converted_files/smileys/smiley36.gif" border="0" alt="LOL" title="LOL" /> or <img src="http://www.ftypeforums.co.uk/images/converted_files/smileys/smiley19.gif" border="0" alt="Cry" title="Cry" /><br><div><br></div><div><br></div></div></div>

Joe, I'm not sure I was ready for this this morning! You sure know how to tug at the heart-strings!<br><br>Very sad news, but as Jagster says 'Don't be a stranger!' <br><br>Hopefully the F-Pace will have you smiling as well and keep you smitten until that new F-Type arrives on your doorstep!<br><br>All the best mate,<br><br><br>

Noooooo..... :( this is very sad news. "You can take a man out of the F type but not take the F type out of the man". The F-pace really is very nice though, a friend at work gets his in a couple of weeks so I'll be having a good poke around. I expect you will be like my wife. Her beloved Alfa GT at > 11 years old was swapped for an XE last year. I've still not been forgiven and am reminded every time she sees an Alfa. Every time I drive the XE I just think it's brilliant, so I'll expect you'll love your F pace. <br><br>Hopefully, the dealer will have made a mistake.......I'm sorry sir we appear to have ticked the F-type box on the order instead of F-Pace Although, I don't think you'll get away with explaining that one at home a second time!<br>

Love your message Mickjaguar! Two sayings mentioned on this forum I love and now have been hardwired in me:<div><br></div><div><span style=": rgb251, 251, 253;">"You can take a man out of the F type but not take the F type out of the man" </span></div><div><br></div><div>and the other,</div><div><br></div><div>"Its not how fast you go, its how you go fast"</div><div><br></div><div>Your right Mickjaguar, I will certainly get the red card from the missus if the dealer made that mistake<img src="http://www.ftypeforums.co.uk/images/converted_files/smileys/smiley36.gif" border="0" alt="LOL" title="LOL" />. </div><div><br></div><div><br></div>

We'll miss you next year team red! All the best with the move and the new beastie - hope all goes super smooth for you, Jess & Malc
