It's a hot day today

20170525_175045.jpgThe car seemed to have registered 40°C in the North East! Admittedly it sat outside under the sun for 8 hours but I would have thought car thermometer would get heated up that much!

The temp dropped quite rapidly as soon as I started driving and back down to 22°C eventually.

Anyone else had that experience?
 
Yes - all the time. I park in front of a brown garage doors that faces South in a sun trap. Cars often registers high in the 30's. Jag seems to go up less than BMW's and descends slower on the road. Guess that's the software and location of the sensor

F Type was at 36c when I drove out this afternoon but stayed at 28c for a 2 mile journey so no complaints in sunny Staffs. :)
