Took a trip to Aviemore yesterday and drove up to the ski area. After looking around for a while we drove to the town of Aviemore just 3.3 miles away. When was got home I looked at the Jaguar remote app and saw that the journey took 7 minutes at an average of 30mph and we got 51.1mpg! It was steeply downhill all the way but I never imagined that in any circumstances, next time I will log the reverse journey.<br />Steve.

yep that must be a record - best Ive had in my 340 was 38.8 - steady 70 mile motorway run at 60 mph with no ac on - just as an experiment to see what I could get.<div><br></div><div>Worst was just over 12 driving like a loon in maximum bang and crackle mode <img src="http://www.ftypeforums.co.uk/images/converted_files/smileys/smiley1.gif" border="0" alt="Smile" title="Smile" /></div><div><br></div><div>Just shows what a split personality these great cars have.

I know the route well - been coming up to the Aviemore area for the last 30 years - seem to remember that route is very very downhill <img src="http://www.ftypeforums.co.uk/images/converted_files/smileys/smiley1.gif" border="0" alt="Smile" title="Smile" /> might be more like 20 mpg on the way back up
