internal whistling sound

noticed a couple of times when im above a certain speed i get an intermittent whistle sound which comes and goes, almost sounds like air being forced back through the centre vents? anyone else had this?
 
Are you driving a coupe? If so the quarter lights are known to whistle at certain speeds, they need to be pulled in tight against the seals...
 
yes its a coupe, excuse my ignorance but what are the quarter lights? sounds like its coming from the middle of the dash...
 
Open your doors and the little triangle of glass above the rear wings on each side are the quarter lights. If they are not pulled in tight against the rubber seals which you can see easliy with the doors open. The screws for pulling them in are on the inside...
 
had a quick look and they seem ok to me but im no expert! the sound is like its coming from the front though not to the rear.
