Insurance Renewal

Just got my car and home insurance renewal quote from Admiral Insurance.

It's a multi-car policy (F Type, Audi A3 and Audi Q4) plus my home insurance. Last year's price for the F Type was £559.90. This year it's gone down to £349.87.

The Q4 was £485.83 last year and now it's £340.56. The A3 was new last year (replaced a VW Polo) so I don't have a price to compare to from last year. It's £252.80 this year.

My home insurance was £390.21 last year and this year it's £352.21.

Overall I saved £377.95 from my premium 12 months ago.

I tried shopping around but no one could beat the quote so I'm sticking with Admiral again.

For the sake of transparency, I don't work for Admiral or in the insurance industry. Just a customer who welcomes the savings this year.

I had read recently that insurance have come down this year but took it with a pinch of salt. Your experience has made me happy. I just hope things stay that way until my 4 car renewal due in October.

I was very surprised, given that it only ever seems to go up. I hope you get a nice reduction too.

I had a very pleasant surprise today when the renewal letter dropped into my inbox from LV.

A drop from £988 to £686. That's with Motor Legal protection, NCB protection, and extended personal accident cover.

This year's price brings it back in line with the one before the big hike last year.

Insurance is always so variable, but a very pleasant surprise that my LV multicar policy price dropped by 30%. Covers 2 cars inc. a full BEV and both similar discounts.
F Type a mere £190 for the usual fully comp, no changes to anything, except both the cars an me are a year older..
