Infotainment, climate control and indicator problems!

Hello,

I have a 2013 V8S that's done 36k miles.

It's not missed a beat in 2 years and have enjoyed the experience a lot, until last week!

When I'm driving along the Infotainment and climate control will just turn off randomly. When this happens the indicators, hazard lights and passenger side window also stop working.

I thought it may be because of a low battery as I had been away for 3 weeks and when I started it back up I got the low battery warning. I took it for a 100 mile drive and it seemed to get better after 40 or so miles and then it stopped.

Went out in it yesterday, with no low battery warning and it did it again, like 3 times.

Any ideas? Anyone had something similar? It's pretty annoying and a little dangerous with the indicators and hazard lights not working.

See the other thread people are responding to today: "battery charging advice".

Lots of comments in there about just driving the car is unlikely to charge the battery properly so likely to still get issues until charged from mains

Sounds like you may have a dodgy earth connection somewhere. Some folks have found the one in the right front wheel wheel is prone to a bit of corrosion.
