Hello there,

Can anyone recommend or have used a JLR specialist near Portsmouth/Southampton? I don't want to take it to a dealer as they want to carry out the H239 exhaust software update. F type requires a pinion seal replacement but getting conflicting reports on the capabilities of the one I found on Google. Much appreciated. Thank you.

I take mine to Foxtec Services just down the road from the Southampton football ground. He's not a Jag specialist but he knows his stuff with JLR vehicles and has never been found wanting when I've asked him about Jag-specific things. I think a number of us on here use him. No courtesy cars or "free" coffee, just good honest service.

Get a Quote first, i went to a so Called Jaguar Specialist for a basic service and got a bill for £600 OIl/Filters Air filters ect . Made me think i should have gone to my local garage
