I'm fed up with poor standard of workmanship and customer service from Jaguar Main Dealers so far.
Mine's a 14 plate 3 litre S. owned from new.
Great car, no problems, but it's service time and the 2 previous places I've used left me underwhelmed .
Can anyone recommend a decent, knowledgeable, Independent garage around the west Midlands area ?

Dont let the look of the place fool you (its awful). Its always busy and i was recommended by another Jag forum. Always tons of cars and customers - says a lot.

Just had mine service there last month.

They seem to specialise in the older cars, I would be a little concerned that they lack the expertise on the later vehicles and by the absence of specialised diagnostic equipment that is now required. I have little doubt that they are good mechanics.
 
They had all the kit - the F-type is full of XF and XJ components anyway, it's just prettier. Servicing is pretty simple as long as it's done correctly anyway. A couple of quite new XJ's and an XF were there when i was.
 
Thanks to both of you. I've seen older "classic" Jags outside their place. Meyers' comment was my thought exactly !
I'll check them out.
