just had software version S19A_19.2.4.2-375121 and can see some new features including connectivity for what i think is carplay on an iphone?
my car is MY18 so would this work?

That is the latest 19A4 version. I'm still running 19A2 and I am MY18 so I'll update mine later.

Ok it let me update to 19A3 but now says no updates available.

Dealership had to involve Jag technical to get 19A4 on (had several failures) so not sure what the issues were - also i think 19A4 has only been available this week from what i could see

There is a lot of confusion with versions and naming conventions hence I thought it would be worth quoting the Jaguar version 19A1 to 4 along with the version number as displayed on the head unit so anyone can check.
I am still on 19A2 with no updates available. As I understand it the updates are scheduled for 6 month update windows to stop all cars on the same day requesting the same update. A bit like Windows Update runs for major updates.
The next update should be 19A5 in September however I've heard it might be 19B1 later in October so expect a new interface or layout etc if that happens.
I've been SOTA updated to 19A3 now.
And 19B is now out which fixed the crackling speaker issue if you want to update the LR/Velor forums.

Who has an answer : I have 'apple carplay' as a button on the display.. ..how do I get "android auto" ???
I though that was simply an app for my phone, but it seems its also firmware..

On mine it is settings button then software update and it will list a number either starting 18b or 19a followed a load of numbers.

Different versions in different places.
I click on settings cog button and then software updates and there will be a big long number starting S18c or S19. Lookup the number above to find the version.
