Nothing psychological, just the routeplanner thinking my F-Pace is one and the same as my F-Type...
HERE we come... ... I had a data subscription from vodafoon, with 1Gb that I never use. Happens I
buy an F-Pace, also needs a simcard.. ... so I bought a 'duo sim' that lets you use the data when you
need it, in the car [ or tablet ] where you put the other simcard.
So I set up 'in control' ; no sweat. Now two cars on the app and the PC. Then comes the routeplanner.
There is the option to add a car. So I go through the steps, and it just does not go beyond a page where
it says that 'next time you use..' . I tried x times ; no luck.
Then I thought : "..maybe the 3/4G does not work if I have it also on WiFi.." . So I switched it to 3/4 G.
Still the routplanner did not see the F-PAce, though the webbrowser works fine...
Then I thought : just plan a route and look in the F-Pace to see what happens... TA TA... :?
The route planned for the F-Type appears in the F-Pace..
Now these cards both have the same 'number' ; could it be the HERE system links the phone number
to the car, not the MAC number ?
So this means I have to send the duo-sims back and get two single different numbers..
Anybody knows about this ??
And all of this because the cars do not come with its own simcard, other then the dedicated secure sim...
I have seen that the 2020 cars come with a single sim. From this 500mb pm is available for the first 3 years.
The owners can up the data limit buy paying for extra data.
