Thought you may be interested in seeing what Hydrodipped Piano Black badges look like for the F-type before they are fitted.<div><br></div><div>I hope to get them mounted a bit straighter than that on the car <img src="http://www.ftypeforums.co.uk/images/converted_files/smileys/smiley2.gif" border="0" alt="Wink" title="Wink" /></div><div><br><div><img src="http://www.ftypeforums.co.uk/images/converted_files/uploads/332/Black_badges.JPG" height="466" width="700" border="0" /><br></div></div>
 
Hi Tel<div><br></div><div>I have had mine done in carbon but have not fitted them as I am concerned how to make sure they go on straight and also some of the tape needs changing!!</div>

I'm not sure of the level TBH I just asked them to do it and they did it haha<div>Sorry not much help :(</div><div><br></div><div>My guess it might be the same as the rear window, which is the darkest legal tint..</div>

Haha I was saying to Tel I honestly can't remember the price as I had a bunch of other little things done at the same time, but I think it was around £200<div><br></div><div>They took off the existing badges and coated them and put them back on :)</div><div><br></div><div>So odd the factory doesn't offer it, I love it!</div><div>I had my front S done in a sort of matte grey so that it still stands out against the black grille</div>
 
Here's my rear... I bought a new badge from local dealer (£15) and then got a friend who works for an Aston Martin paint shop to to the spraying (£20)
 
That looks very nice PaulMc, and for me that's because of the color of your car.<br /><br />Not shure if it would look as good on my IRR though..?
 
Must admit I am not a fan of black this and black that, I like the badges as they are but if I was to change them I would have them in gold like on my other car which is a silvery green. I think gold would look nice with IRR, I like a bit of bling, must be my Essex upbringing. 😎<br />Steve.
