How does the right hand engine bay fuse box come apart?

I recently had a mouse do £1300 of damage by chewing through a Nox sensor wire. The orange engine management light came on and I sent the car in to be fixed under warranty. Once there and pulled apart, it became apparent it wasn't a warranty issue but a rodent issue. Of course the car is already there and in bits (half the bill already) and left with little choice but to let them get on with it and finish the job. (The wire was £90 +VAT, the remainder labour. Ouch.)

Anyway, the reason for my question is I've got a 12v ultrasonic rodent scarer that I want to install. Looking under the bonnet the right hand fuse box looks the best starting point for a 12v supply. Before I start snapping plastic clips trying to open it up does anyone know how they can be dismantled without damage?

I'd already come across that page. Unfortunately it only shows how to replace fuses. I need to know how to get into the body (underside) of the fusebox without breakage.
 
Most of the modern fuse boxes are a complete pain to access the underside to input wires without special tooling, other option is to cut into an existing cable, messy way to do it.
 
You're right and that's the problem I have. I'm working on the basis that if a new fuse box was required there must be a way of disconnecting the old one and replacing it without having to break things in the process. It's just a load of plastic mouldings that are either clipped and slotted together or permanently glued together. I'm hoping it's the former.
Of course ripping it apart would tell me how I should have done it if it was possible.
Not keen on splicing into things (just yet).
 
You can buy a piggy back fuse holder probably from ebay. This allows the original fuse to be replaced & another from it. All from above.

No cutting wires (god help us) or no Scotchblocks!
I had an escort MK1 once...the whole wiring loom under the dash was awash with 'BLUE' Scotchlocks ;-)
