Highland drive?

I have a Scottish Highlands holiday coming up. I'm taking the Jag. I don't want to miss any must-drive roads.
Roughly driving from Edinburgh to Inverness then across to Oban on west coast and back down via Glasgow.
I have the A82 through Glencoe on the list. Also I've been advised to skip from A9 north from Edinburgh and instead take the mountain road to the east past Lecht Ski Centre.
Any other tips? Thanks in advance.

Find a way to add in Aberfoyie to Callender via Trossachs Dukes Pass. Then north on A84 and A85 up through Crianlarich to Oban. All the way up the West coast to Cape Wrath is also good. Bits of the NC500 are good if not too many camper vans around.

Yes, definitely head to Perth from Edinburgh and jump on the A93 to Glenshee ski centre (the filming of the famous Jeremy Clarkson V6 review), then head on to the Lecht Ski Centre. road up towards Grantown and Carrbridge, but take the B9007 to Nairn and head west to Inverness on the A96.

You won't go far wrong on any of the west coast in that area. The A87 which takes you past Eilean Donan castle is a great drive from memory and could be used on your itinerary. It joins to A82 with the coast.

It's good from Oban and above but it gets really spectacular north of Applecross Peninsula near Skye if you decide to extend the route further north.

I've just booked a week off work in early October to take the F-Type up to this area, so I'll be following any updates with interest. Have fun!
