Hi, new owner saying hello. I've gone for the 2L P300 because it reminded most of my beloved Giulia Quad that is no more, nimble, close ratio box, but needs a little more power.
I tried the V6S but found it heavy on the front end and not that quick it steer compared to what I'd been used to. The exhaust sounded lovely but got a little tiresome after a while.
I didn't bother with the V8 as the V6 is the V8 with some blanking plates or so I read.
Anyway, love the car, the love the looks, inside and out.
Looking forward to getting to know the community.

Hi Jon, they are a good car, there’s a few p300 owners on here. I’ve heard good things about paramount performance and maybe tempted eventually but currently swapping the seats and doing an audio upgrade. Don’t be tempted to pull fuse 15 as p300 go into limp mode

Hi. All F-Types are fabulous! The P300 is a quick car. 300ps in a light little car is certainly fun. Previous to my F-Type I had a 3 door Audi S3 hatchback and it was loads of fun to drive but also could be sensible and fuel efficient too depending on how much fun was involved. The S3 was 310ps and 400 Nm torque AWD 2.0L TFSI OEM which was great, but I got a stage 1 remap by Revo to 375ps and 450Nm, which unlocked a significant amount of extra drivability. You might want to look into remap options for your 2.0T F-Type?…..
Don’t forget to let your insurer know if you do (worth checking with them before)
For 325 quid with Paramount, it’s worth a look….

Thanks I'll definitely look into it. You're right, 300 is nice and is very usable. My previous car had significantly more but the opportunity to properly drive it was few and far between.
Having said that a sharper throttle response would be nice, and I'd probably look at a gearbox remap having read some posts on here re Celtic.
The other thing that I'll be looking at is the steering wheel. It's massive! Is it possible to get a smaller diameter, or is the flat bottom a smaller diameter?

@jon this might seem a silly point to make but I wasn’t overly aware to start with that the dynamic button only puts the engine into dynamic mode really on the p300, knock the shifter (used to be a j gate) over to the left and it puts the gearbox in sport mode also and makes quite a sizeable difference as I found the gearbox abit lazy to start with until I realised this

My 21 Reims edition P300 is approaching 20k miles, and it suddenly has found a new level, its zipper and more responsive than before, I’ve even had two regular passengers notice its eagerness.
I have no idea how, but let this sweet spot continue.
